WinCheckers is a Checkers program.
Rules of Checkers
Checkers is a game where two players move their pawns alternately.
Black side always starts the game.
The objective is to capture all opponent pieces.
Starting Position
Pawns move one square diagonally forward only.
They have to jump behind opponent pieces to capture them.
Capture is mandatory, they must capture if they can.
As long as captures are legal, they must continue to capture opponent pieces.
The D2 Pawn captures E3, E5 and E7 pawns by jumping on F4, D6 and F8.
When they reach the last rank, they are promoted to King.
Kings move one square diagonaly forward and rearward.
Kings capture forward and rearward and not only forward unlike pawns.
The F8 King captures E7, E5, E3 and C3 Pawns by jumping on D6, F4, D2 and B4.
